Nokia N96


The dual slide designed Nokia N96 has two keypads that open up on opposite sides of its display. The handset boasts of a 5 megapixel camera which is equipped with Carl Zeiss lens. The phone comes with massive 16 GB of internal memory, which is large enough to store up to 40 hours of video content.The cell phone features a 2.8 inches wide TFT screen that also serves as a viewfinder when the device is put to camera mode. The phone allows fast data downloads through its USB 2.0 port connection. The N96 comes with an integrated DVB-H receiver that provides live broadcast of television programs to the users. One can also expand the memory of N96 to a total of 24 GB by using a microSD memory card like MU-43 and 8GB microSDHC. It also comes with a built in Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver that allows voice-guided car navigation to the users. The phone’s predictive text input application automatically corrects spelling and other grammatical mistakes as one types texts into the N96. The Bluetooth support of the camera phone allows users to transfer data and videos to and from the handset at about three times faster than GPRS with other Bluetooth supporting devices.

The Nokia N96 double slide camera phone will be available in the markets from third quarter of 2008.

Sony Ericsson C702


The Sony Ericsson C702 is available in Speed Black and Cyan Blue colors. The handset’s Advanced Global Positioning System (AGPS) receiver comes with features like Google Maps for Mobile and Wayfinder. The Sony Ericsson C702 features a 3.2 megapixel camera. It has a 2.2 inches, 256K color TFT display. Its screen serves as a viewfinder when the device is used in camera mode. The C702 has support for Bluetooth 2.0 and can tune FM Radio with RDS. The camera phone comes with 160 MB of internal memory and expandable by using a Stick Micro (M2) memory card if required. The device makes use of a standard Li-ion battery that has a talk time of up to 7 hrs. and a standby time of up to 300 hrs. The phone weighs 105 gm and is quite comfortable to hold in hands.

Sony Ericsson T303, Slider Mobile Phone

Sony Ericsson T303, a small new slider mobile phone that offers a some style in a pocket-sized package. The phone’s length measures just 3.3 inches when closed. It also has 65k color TFT and 8MB of internal memory for media, but does not appear to have any type of slot for external memory. The simple slider also comes packed with Bluetooth, a 1.3 mega pixel camera and can tune in the local FM radio. Sony Ericsson is promising 9 hours of talk time and 400 hours of standby on a full charge.

Samsung F480

This is an elegant cell phone model measuring 95.9 x 55 x 11.5 mm, with HSDPA 2100 high-speed data transfer for up to 7.2 Mbps, EDGE, GPRS, and a large 2.8MP TFT LCD display capable of 256K colors and with touch-sensitivity technology. It features music player, Photo call, 1000 phonebook entries, and support for H.264/H.263/MPEG4 video file types, while providing a memory card slot to let the user extend the storage capacity.

Besides these, Samsung F480 has Bluetooth support, version 2.0 with A2DP, e-mail, instant Messaging, HTML browser, Organizer and Document Viewer, while using a Li-Ion battery with the talk time limit unknown yet.
